Suatu perangkap tikus

Kerana Satu Perangkap Tikus

Jadi jangan buat aku runsinglah."

Stop and Stare

By A.R.

Big grins are now slopping downwards, as the depressor anguli oris works its magic and transform KODians' beautiful smiles into frowns.

Why brothers and sisters? Because the holiday is coming to an end, and another great adventure awaits us in Block 3!

Now let's look back, and reminiscence the time we have spent throughout the holiday.

Everything Happens for A Good Reason

By Hazirah Abdul Nasir

A story is told about a King in Africa who had a close friend that he grew up with. The friend had a habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in his life (positive or negative) by remarking, “This is good, Allah Almighty knows best” One day the King and his friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare the guns for the King. The friend had apparently done something wrong in preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the King fired it and his thumb was blown off. Examining the situation the friend remarked as usual, “This is good! Allah Almighty knows best.” To which the King replied, “No, this is NOT good!” and ordered his soldiers to put his friend into jail.

Expressing Gratitude to Allah s.w.t

By Nurul Afiqah

There are lots of blessings that Allah has given us in this worldly life; either we realize it or not. Praise be unto Allah the Most Merciful and Beneficent for giving us our precious life till now, breathing fresh air and carrying out our daily routine as a student as well as His caliph. Our eyes that we use for seeing, ears for hearing, nose for smelling and all our vital organs such as the heart, liver, kidney are all gifts from Allah to His creations. No one can afford to repay all of His blessings; therefore we should do good deeds and try to avoid immoral doings as ways to show and express our gratitude to the Almighty Allah S.W.T.

Big Stone & Small Stone

By Nurul Rafhana

If you are given two types of stones; some big ones and some small ones and asked to arrange them in a box in a way the surface layer should be smooth and must not have bumps and pits, what would you do?

There are two ways of doing it. First, put the small pebbles in and then arrange the big ones at the top which will give a very rough and irregular surface. But when you put the big stones in first and then fill up the gaps on the surface using the small pebbles, the surface is much smoother.

Lifting The Burden Of Others

By Hafiz Izzuddin

It was related on the authority of Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu ‘anhu, that the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said:

“Whosoever relieves from a believer some grief pertaining to this world, Allah will relieve from him some grief pertaining to the Hereafter. Whosoever alleviates the difficulties of a needy person who cannot pay his debt, Allah will alleviate his difficulties in both this world and the Hereafter. Whosoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah will aid a servant (of His) so long as the servant aids his brother. Whosoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.
