Let the glittering and sparkling begin! They tied the knot!

Let the trumpets be blown, the hands to clap and the mouths to chatter.

A sweet, young couple from our very own class has tied their knot on 25th October 2014.

Congratulations and a happy married life to Fandi and Batrisya!

Baarak-Allahu laka wa baaraka alaikuma wa jama’a bainakuma fee khairin

Amni and I (Rafhana) flew over to Sarawak to witness their union. It was an experience like no other. The air smelt fresh and lovely. The concern of their family and friends was jaw-dropping, alhamdulillah. The food was in abudance and everyone ate to their full. No one was left out. It was a marriage of Barakah. 

The night of the Nikah was celebrated with cakes and more food. From the kids running around the house to the elders chatting about life, from the teenagers discussing their future weddings to the visitors who were delighted with the food, the atmosphere was mesmerizing. 

Theirs' is more than mere love story. Their struggle till the point of Nikah has been inspiring at many levels. They demonstrated that it requires patience, persistence and rational thoughts to win the battle and they did! They took great care in convincing their parents and keeping their promises. Allah rewarded them with such a beautiful marriage for the patience they showed.We, as classmates, will be helping them throughout their journey here at KOD, inshaAllah.

The couple will be holding their Walimah Feast here in Kuantan on 16th of November to make it possible for the Kuantan peeps to attend. 

If you think you can't marry while studying dentistry, then your hypothesis is bunked. You can pursue what is halal as long as you maintain your strong connection with Allah and have enough discipline to manage your life, inshaAllah.
