The Interaction Day is an annual
event hold by the KoD mainly to welcome all the first year students into the
KoD family. It is also to give a time off to all the students to relax and just
start having fun. Conducted and organised by the students itself, The
Interaction Day is not only hold a platform to strengthen the bond between the
juniors and seniors, it is also gives an opportunity for the students to
enhanced their skills on conducting such kind of event
Only in the second time running,
the interaction day is divided into two parts which are the tele-match and the
closing ceremony.
The tele-matches divided all the
KoD students into six teams according to colours which are red blue green yellow purple pink. (Yes,
pink). The closing ceremony, on the other hand usually consists of dinners,
price-giving ceremony, and a special performance by the first year.
It has been a tradition in KoD
for their students to involve in stage performances, especially for FIRST YEAR STUDENT. Dramas, choirs and even
dances, KoD have done it all. It might felt a little troublesome at first (a
lot more if you’re to involve in it) but eventually, the whole things will
become a rather fun experience to enjoy with your friends. A dentistry student
is *obliged to studying but it could never hurt to have fun of your own, and
this year, we the Eximius VII decided to throw fun into a whole new different
level. Thus, began the tale of ‘Hang Tuah and Puteri Gunung Ledang’.
Imagined a classical Malay story,
sets in the old Malacca days, is now combined with the famous tales in the
world. Imagined what Tuah would do when he met Snow White, or the Red Riding
Hood. And what will he say when he met the strongest man in the Malay tale,
Badang? And what will happen if Tuah met Troy Bolton? (Not Brad Pitt-Troy, but
Zac Efron-Troy). All for only one reason, to marry the love of his life, Puteri
Gunung Ledang. You can look for a quick
behind the scene teasers of our play in the video.
Here, our performance during that night... keep calm and enjoy, just 30 minutes...
